Sherman Alexie’s book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian is inspired by his own life. It tells the story of Arnold Spirit, a boy who leaves the Indian reservation to get a better education. In this interview Sherman Alexie discusses big issues that young American Indians face.
