During the sweltering summer months, spending time in the water feels great. But when kids and teens can’t swim, time at the beach or the pool could put them in great danger. First Strokes, a New York City non-profit organization, is dedicated to removing barriers to learning how to swim by providing swimming lessons and equipment to teens in historically underrepresented communities.
