Baby Talk Is Universal


Anyone who has been around babies is familiar with baby talk, or the way adults use rhythmic speech and high pitched vocalizations to interact with babies. Researchers recently found that adults throughout the world use baby talk, even if they live in very different, even isolated, societies.
