When Hurricane Fiona recently hit Puerto Rico, the storm severely damaged the island’s avocado industry. Fiona brought heavy rain and strong winds that blew hundreds of avocados from their trees. In the aftermath, people supported one another by rounding up the avocados and giving them away.
