Debate: Should Social Media Do More to Stop Bullying?


Cyberbullying on social media has become a frequent problem for teens. Some social media sites have addressed the issue by adding or changing features to better protect victims of bullying. Some people argue, however, that they haven’t done enough. They say social media companies are driven to make money, and making the kind of changes that are needed could get in the way of profits. Listen to the head of Instagram describe some of his company’s key anti-bullying strategies and then debate: Should social media do more to stop bullying?
